Be recognized by, and recognize your peers.  Stay current and focused on what you need to know.

You'll get the most out of your membership if you invest time into helping Oregon CAI committees stay active and innovative.  Our committees implement the strategic plan for the Chapter.  From programs to publications to legislative activity, committee members provide the strength that enables the Chapter to meet the needs of its member communities in the our area.

Education Committee

Education Committee: Charged with the development, promotion and presentation of educational programs, including ABCs for Association Leaders, Advanced ABCs, Legislative Update, and  Professional Forum for the Chapter membership, paying particular attention to the needs of each of the interest groups.  In addition, the Education Committee coordinates special seminars upon request.

Membership Committee

Membership Committee: Charged with the Chapter's recruitment, retention, and outreach.

Marketing Committee

Marketing Committee: The committee is responsible for planning and implementing the branding of the chapter through the development of marketing materials and cultivation of media presence.  The committee is also responsible for all Marketing materials and monitoring, identifying and developing resource material to maintain on the Chapter's web site.  In addition, identifies other trends in technology to increase awareness of the Chapter's services, programs and activities.  They are also charge with the planning and development of content for the Chapter's quarterly on-line newsletter.  The committee identifies topics and appropriate content and identifies and recruits appropriate authors and contributors.
Mission Statement: To explore and implement opportunities to promote the image and membership of the Chapter

Social Committee

Social Committee: Identifies and assist in coordinating and promoting special events for the Chapter.  Activities include Annual Golf Tournament, Annual Member Appreciation, New Member Welcom Reception, and the Annual Meeting/Gala.
Mission Statement: To create and host interactive social events for members and vendors that support growth and awareness of CAI Oregon.

Legislative Action Committee

Legislative Committees: Responsible for identifying legislative issues of importance to common interest communities in the specific jurisdiction of the committee.  This includes local, regional, statewide and federal legislation.  Monitors legislation and helps the Chapter set specific issue priorities.
