Purpose & Objectives

The Events Committee (formerly Social Committee) is responsible for organizing and managing CAI social events. The committee is responsible for ensuring the events promote community within CAI and introduce the benefits of CAI to new and existing members.

Responsibilities

The Committee will:

� Manage social events for the CAI community including:
      - New Member Events
      - Summer Social
      - Annual Golf Tournament
      - Annual Gala
      - Kick-Off Event 
      - Other events as the Board and Committee deem appropriate
� Manage the events within budget and to the standards of CAI
� Sell sponsorships for the events

Goals for 2012

� Form sub-committees if necessary to support various events
� Document process for major events
� Reach out to all CAI members for participation
� Reach out to CAI community for sponsorship
� Increase attendance at CAI events over previous years
� Support other committee in their goals
