LEGISLATIVE ACTION COMMITTEE ("LAC")

Delegates present: Rich Vial, Rich Thompson, Barbara Kanz, Cheryl Brendle, Denise Bower, Karna Gustafson, Dominic Colletta, Jack Herring

A. Motion. Motion and seconded for approval of the Minutes from the last meeting. Minutes approved.

B. Treasurer's Report. No Treasurer's Report.

C. Legislature Reception. The delegates decided to wait to see how our bill does before we plan that event. The bill was dropped on February 14, 2005.

D. Lien Priority Bill. Copies were distributed to the delegates. Discussion followed relative lobbying fees. The decision on lobbying fees was tabled to a future meeting. The delegates reviewed the draft of the bill and made revisions.

E. OWCAM. OWCAM dropped their insurance bill. Cheryl Brendle and Rich Vial discussed the content of the bill. Copies were distributed to the delegates.

F. Working Group Liaison. Discussion followed on the Working Group's bill. There was discussion on the email provision of the bill requiring consent.

Next meeting is scheduled for March 8, 2005 at Noon at CMI.
